Description
Propolis is a fascinating substance, being naturally produced by bees just like honey. Specifically, bees use the rich resins and saps from evergreen trees to produce propolis. The end result is a material which is roughly 50% resin, 30% beeswax, and 10% essential oils with a small amount of pollen to round it off. The word "propolis" roughly translates to "at the entrance to the community". Propolis is a crucial substance for bees, and as this name suggests, it is used most commonly in the construction and protection of the hive.
Thanks to the plant-based sources used by bees, propolis is considered to be one the strongest natural sources of bioflavonoids. Little wonder then that health-conscious individuals have been using it since the time of the Ancient Egyptians. Why Buy Simply Supplements' Bee Propolis? Our bee propolis capsules are as pure as can be. Firstly, the base ingredients pass through a comprehensive testing process, ensuring they are free from heavy metals, pesticides and more. Once quality control processes are satisfied, the beneficial elements are carefully extracted.
This means we're able to pack more of these nutrients into our capsules than many competing products. Even though each capsule weighs only 820mg, they actually contain the equivalent of 1000mg of bee propolis. This ensures a super-strength dose every time. Lastly, the bee propolis extract is gently sealed within a gel capsule to ensure maximum freshness during storage, yet rapid dispersal on consumption. Our bee propolis capsules are manufactured right here in the UK to ensure maximum purity and quality. They contain no added sugar, salt, colours or other additives. In short, our bee propolis is as close to nature as it's possible to be.
